PNT TV MUSIC

Amy Stroup

Tales of an Inspired Musician                                                                                        Wednesday, July 13th

Hey all PNTTv Music followers,

I’m so sorry that I was absent last week, but, as well all know, life can get in the way sometimes. During my week away though, I spent a lot of time thinking about music and it’s meaning, about the hetero and the homo communities and it occurred to me that the focus of PNTTv isn’t just homo women, but WOMEN in general (the women we hope will join our team one day hahaha). This week, I bring you an artist that I just discovered and instantly fell in love with.

Amy Stroup is the female Damien Rice or rather Damien Rice is the male Amy Stroup.

She mixes unbelievable melodic tones that take me to another world. It’s absolutely beautiful what she does and it’s been quite a long time that I’ve felt the need to get my life in order because of a song. Stroup, in a very calm and subtle way, grabs your heart and throws it to the wind in hopes that you’ll go searching for it and that that journey will change your life forever.

Her music has been featured all over the television on shows such as Grey’s Anatomy (which we all know is gay friendly), One Tree Hill, Private Practice, and Brothers and Sisters.

Check out her music at: http://www.myspace.com/amystroup

Comment down below with your opinion. Do you like her music or could you live without it?

Until Next Week,

Jess
